Hello disabled friends, drop your disability amazon/online finds here - I'm talking anything that helps you with your disabilities, even if it just comforts you. I know it's hard to find things, and I figured we can all help each other out.
I'll go first - the pulse oximeter I have is currently on sale for 60% off ($32 - I got it for $60, USD). It's approved to be medical grade. Also, even though it's by Apple, you don't need an Apple device to use it or the app.
Amazon can offer VAT refunds on some items if you're disabled/chronically ill.

hey, does anyone use one crutch opposed to a cane? do you think the difference in support/stability is enough to make it worth buying crutches?
I do! or, like. I used to before my Other Leg decided to be sucky too, but if you can afford it reasonably it is absolutely worth if you need more support from your cane. You get the same stuff a cane would give you, but its more stable and the arm part means you can lean into it if you need to, and you have a better grip. plus if you get crutches you have the other in case you need extra help.
oh, thats good to know ! ive been thinking of getting a pair for use in places that arent accessible by rollator, but i dont know think id like using 2 because im very used to being able to Use At Least One Hand and Not Drop My Mobility Aid… do those standing cane tips (the all rubber ones) work on crutches too?
